Cobalt Dash Side Plate with Rim

Side plate hand painted with cobalt dashes and an iron slip. The plate is press moulded, and then painted with iron slip, and after the initial firing the cobalt and a clear glaze are applied and the piece goes into the kiln for the final time. Perfect size for cake.

Measures approx. 17cm across.

Fired in an electric kiln, using renewable energy.

All work designed and made by Ali Hewson in her Norwich studio. You will find small differences in each piece, as they are all made by hand. Food safe, hand wash only.

All piece will be double boxed for safety and posted with Royal Mail Second Class Signed For. International delivery is available on smaller pieces.
